FOOTHILL FELINES MIDAS!!

Ed Kerr's very special family in lovely San Francisco, California, just keeps growing!! With his roommate Michael, and cats Spike, Ajax, Dweezil, Beastie, and Foothill Felines Mobi (click here for Mobi's update page, and to learn more about Ed's cats), Ed came to visit us this spring just to see our new baby M&M's. Adding to his family was really not in the cards ... until, that is, he met Macy and Midas!! He was absolutely taken by Macy's wild coloring, contrast and beauty, and both Ed and Michael fell totally in love with little Midas, and his wonderful grin and charisma. We agreed these two kittens should go as a pair, and that we would, for now, co-own Macy with Ed, as we think that she has enormous potential for showing and possible breeding!

"I was watching Midas play last night and looking at his build and the way he moved. I think he may end up being a very big boy as well. He seems to have grown in the three days I've had him. He was playing last night on the kitchen counter under the halogen lights and it caught his glitter from all directions. He looked like a sheet of beaten gold, shimmered from head to toe (or tail). You are right...it's very unusual to find that level of glitter in such a typey cat. He is nearly completely glittered; it's not just a sprinkling, it's nearly all of his coat. Anyway, I'm very relieved with the progress and very pleased with the kittens. They are both very affectionate and spend lots of time on Michael's lap during the day when he's working on his computer. I think this will work very nicely." Ed wrote us about Day 2 with the kittens in their new home.

And, a couple of weeks later: "Little Midas is getting much redder now and his spots actually seem to be darkening a bit. His Malarki grin gets more pronounced all the time, and he is my best buddy. He just purrs and purrs and wants to be picked up and follows me around. I'm really attached to him. He and I just bonded from the very first. I am so glad that that I was nuts enough to take two new kittens instead of one."
