FOOTHILL FELINES MORONI!!

Moroni is a charming blue spotted Bengal male, born February 21, 2001, to Gogees Marshamelo of Foothill Felines and Gogees Michabo of Foothill Felines, a pairing that produced 5 gorgeous spotted kittens, 3 of which were blues - the first blue Bengals here at Foothill Felines!! We love and delight in all of our kittens, but Moroni had a special quality to him, and a face that truly resembled a lion cub when he was very young!!

We had been working with a lovely couple in the Manteca California area (about an hour and a half south of Sacramento), and they had had their kitten deposit in for well over a year before we finally could call them and tell them that we thought we had a very special male kitten for them - beautiful spots and face, wonderful pedigree, outstanding temperament - well, we were barely off the phone with the Duran family, and they came right up to visit out cattery and meet this special kitten. The result, we would say is something like "love at first sight!" Rafael and Eileen wrote us soon after bringing Moroni home and also sent us the update pictures below. "Just writing a few words to let you know how we're doing. Moroni hid under the blanket and cried off and on all the way home in the car. Well, then we got home and he came right out of the carrier! The bed was his first exploration, top and bottom. That night he slept on me. The next day he explored the entire room and his tree, and he sleeps in it only three days later. The fifth day he is in the living room and running up and down the stairs. Moroni and I love our royal palace rug where we are allowed playtime. Two weeks later he is getting to know the boys Rafael and Michael."

Another update followed shortly from Rafael and Eileen: "Up date, Moroni is steadily growing and you can really see his muscle tone and feel the weight. We have fun playing hide and seek. It is funny watching him turn the corner at high speed and we take turns hiding. Wow, do I get tired running back and forth -- he's so fast. Sometimes I think he gives me time to hide. He really likes his walking jacket -- he knows it's time to explore the outdoors when we put it on him."
