FOOTHILL FELINES MERLIN!!

The Whitlock-Adler family drove all the way down from British Columbia, Canada, to pick up Merlin and return home with him!! What an adventure!! "Merlin did really well in the car once we let him out to roam around. He did not like his cat carrier, and preferred to lie in my lap and fall asleep. We stopped in Eugene on the way back, and Merlin did really well at our friends' house. He is quite the adventurer. Needless to say he is so wonderful and we love him very much. Everyone who has seen him falls in love with him too. All the other cats get along fairly well with him. He is so confident that they will like him that I don't think the other cats will refuse him for long. He loves our fish tanks and playing with the various toys that we have for him. He is eating well, and he is growing bigger everyday. He has done a great deal of traveling. We had to go to Vancouver for a friend's wedding, so we brought him along. He may become a car cat yet!"

"Every night he cuddles up with Riley or us, and is happy when we let him play under the covers. How are you doing? I wanted to say a great big thanks for your warm hospitality. We really appreciated being able to crash out on your floor for the night. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Well I must go and get Merlin his dinner."

And, more recently, "Merlin is the best! He does an excellent job of playing fetch!! We love him dearly. We just hope he doesn't knock down the Christmas tree!! He also plays a mean Hazelnut Hockey game!!"
