FOOTHILL FELINES MEGADOT OF ARBORCATS!!

The Carrick family in Beaverton Oregon has proven again that patience can definitely pay off when wanting that special Bengal kitten. Kristi C. had given us a kitten deposit for a top quality breeder and show brown spotted female kitten, and despite some set-backs on our part and the fact that we just weren't able to produce many kittens for almost a year after her deposit and request, she remained convinced that she wanted to wait for just the right kitten from us. Finally, thanks to a wonderful litter of four top quality brown spotted female kittens out of Junglebook Megan of Foothill Felines and Foothill Felines Metallica (born on 9-18-2000), we were finally able to reward Kristi and her family for their long wait, patience and loyalty. Their kitten, Foothill Felines Megadot, is an outstanding female kitten, with cutting edge rosetting, and the great strong bone structure and wild head and body type Foothill Felines is known for. Add to that her special purr-sonality, and this was just the right kitten for their family. Kristi flew down to Sacramento to pick up her kitten, and started getting acquainted with her on her return flight home to Oregon.

Here is the first official Carrick update and pictures!! "It was fun to accompany our new kitten home on the airplane, she was pretty quiet and all the people in the airport as well as the flight attendants wanted to know what kind of exotic looking kitten was in the carrier. When we got home she took a day or two to get acquainted with the house but was immediately friendly with all of us. Eleanor, our 9.5 year old daughter was especially excited as she had been watching your website since we had put our name on the waiting list awhile back. Our boys Chris (11) and Sam (almost 4) were very calm and our kitten loved sitting on everyone's lap. After a couple of days, she was feeling quite comfortable. She explored every nook and cranny and pounced on everything that moved. She is mad about her fly toy and her feather (Tiger Tickler), thank you so much for sending us home well equipped. She loves to sleep with us and especially loves my husband Grant, making me jealous as she curls up on him each night. She is growing fast and eats a ton. We are so very glad that we waited for this special kitten and that we brought her home from such a loving breeder who has taken such care to produce such outstanding kittens. We look forward to taking her to a cat show in the near future. With her wonderful rosettes she should do well. She looks much like her mother and you can sure she her father in her as well. She looks much like Foothills Felines Mikki too. We will keep you updated on this beautiful girl that we all love!"
