FOOTHILL FELINES LACIE OF FIRE'N'ICE!!

Lacie is a big, beautiful, seal lynx point spotted snow Bengal, out of the June 9, 2002 litter from Gogees Marshamelo of Foothill Felines and Fantasycats Prince Beau of Bellbooknbengal. Lacie is now part of the very selective, high quality breeding program of Fire'N'Ice Bengals, located in Minnesota. Larry and Wanda McDonald are wonderful about sending pictures and updates, and we heard from them right away after sending Lacie. Here is the first message from them, right after bringing her home from the airport: "Well all is going well with our girl. She is enjoying her new home already. I have her in the bedroom with me and she is getting to know Larry and I. A couple of the other cats got a sniff of her, but they hissed at her when I first brought her in the house in her kennel. They are all in the cat room except Logan. He is roaming the rest of the house and Mom and babies are in the living room in a kennel. So I am keeping all under raps for now so our new girl can adjust. It is about 1:30 am and I am still up so I thought I would let you know all is good here and she is a real trooper. Hardly, cried at all on the way home and didn't mess her kennel at all. She is affectionate with both Larry and I and we are enjoying her company. She is a sweet kitty and a nice looking girl too. My husband is happy to have a snow for his own. He was always talked out of keeping the ones that we had bred so now he has his very own. Will keep you informed as to how she is progressing and pictures. Thanks for all the pictures of Logan's half brother and Daddy. His half brother is a very stunning in his face and markings. You have a real winner there. Dad and Mom produced a nice looking fellow and you should be proud too. Logan's Dad was a nice looking fellow too when he was a little fellow. Enjoyed all the pictures. I will talk with you again soon. I must go to bed as I am so tired. Take care and thanks for our snow girl. We will give her lots of love."

And, a few days later: "Just to let you know all is well here with our new snow girl. She has adjusted wonderfully. All the other cats have accepted her and are playing with her as if she was here all along. She likes to be in the bedroom with me and my other little girl Hanna. They are pretty close in age only a month's difference. They play together the most. So getting her was a good time for all because she has a playmate her age. We had her in to the vet the following day and he said she was a healthy girl. Will keep you up to date on her progress. We hope all is going good for you there. Take care." And just a few short days after that: "Holly, Just to let you know we are calling our girl Lacie. She is really getting around the house now. She is running and playing with all her new friends!" We sincerely hope that Lacie will be able to provide some wonderful contributions to Fire'N'Ice Bengals as a future breeder and as a beloved family member. Photo below shows Lacie at 10 weeks old, just 2 weeks before she left for her new home.
