FOOTHILL FELINES GUIDO!!

Roger and Patsy B. of Auburn California had waited a very long time to add a special kitten to their home and family!! We became instant friends the first time they visited our cattery. It was obvious that they adored our cats, and our cats felt the same way about them. We were so excited when Macqui had her wonderful litter of 6 handsome boys on May 1, 2001, so that we could offer this very special couple a brand new little boy of their very own.

Photos below show Roger and Patsy picking up Guido to take him home with them, and Roger playing on our couch with some of Guido's brothers and relatives, then some update photos sent several months later. We also received some wonderful letters from them, saying: "Guido is doing great. He's eating all he can get, and seems to have adjusted very well to his surroundings. Tyrone, the Pug, and Guido are getting along great also. The breakthrough came yesterday, when they were eating out of the same bowl, the dogs!....but only for a second, as I picked Guidy up away from the situation and he went on with his own food. I feed the kittie at a higher elevation so the dog can't bother him. They are playing together, and we will get you some pictures when they are developed. Actually, it is working far better than I had ever anticipated, and we are really enjoying them! Guido says HI!".

When they sent the more recent update pictures, they wrote: "Dear Holly and Wes; Thought you would enjoy these pics of Guido and Tyrone. Guido is doing beautifully - just a magnificent kitty and getting bigger every day. Mr. "G" and Tyrone have a great time together. Both of them are neutered now, but haven't noticed any change in their exuberance. These pictures were taken last month so Guido is actually larger now, and his coat and coloring is beautiful.
