FOOTHILL FELINES BUDRICK VAN BUDRICK!!

Matthew Nowosiadly started a new life in Florida, but found he missed the company of his kitties, including Foothill Felines Blade and Blade's constant companion Rogue!! Always an admirer of Foothill Felines Metallica, we knew we had a special boy for Matthew when this handsome tawny spotted male kitten was born to Metallica and Megan on 8-19-01. The kitten flew to meet his new daddy in Florida, arrived purring, and the rest is history!!

We received this great message from Matthew soon after the kitten's big trip: "Hi Holly, Buddy, that is my kitty's name, actually his full name is Budrick Van Budrick, but you can call him Buddy, is doing great!!!! He is so beautiful, and fun. He is already at 7.5 lbs! The Vet couldn't believe it, and commented on his beautiful markings, actually everyone comments on his markings; I am trying to not let it go to his head. He got his distemper today, and we scheduled his neutering for January 11th, he was a really big boy, except when he is in the carrier, God he hates that thing, but once he is out he is a cuddle bunny. I have a couple of questions: I am intrigued with the possibility of walking buddy on a leash when he gets a little older, and he is neutered. I read the leash training section of your site, and found it an exciting possibility for Buddy and me. I have attached a picture of Buddy at my feet helping write this e-mail. He loves to help poppa work on the computer from down there, usually with one paw or his head touching poppa's foot. Even if I move him to my lap, he goes right back down there, I think the clicking of the keyboard, and the movement of my hands disturbs his exalted rest. "

And a week later we heard again from Matthew: "I just want to tell you what a good boy Buddy is!!!!!!!! He now sleeps with his poppa all through the night, and doesn't even stir until poppa wakes. I slept in a bit today, being Saturday, and Buddy's wet food ran out, he stayed at my side until he new I was awake then he told me about the wet food. He is so smart, and talkative, he learns so fast. He is the greatest boy in the whole world."

Below are some of the early pictures sent to us by Matthew of Buddy - Buddy at poppa's feet while doing e-mails; Buddy walking, and Buddy on the bed, being close!!

Several months later, we had another update from Matthew, with pictures: " Buddy is doing great!! He plays fetch and talks all the time. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him. I have attached some pictures to show you how beautiful and majestic is becoming. Also I want to get Buddy a buddy. I know you have a waiting list, but thought I would ask if you have any kitties, or even adults available right now. " Take a look at the handsome Buddy as he enters his teenage, early adult years -- what a hunk!!!!! And, the second to the last photo, taken by Matt's special friend Louise, shows Buddy with the also extremely handsome Foothill Felines Blade, a beautiful marble male out of Foothill Felines Malarki and Foothill Felines Metallica. Matt sent us the last photo just after New Year's Day, 2003, of his two handsome boys.

This kitten is an outstanding example of a top quality tawny Bengal with wild type and markings!
