FOOTHILL FELINES BENTLEY JAGUAR!!

Adorable leopard male with elegance, personality and rosettes at 7 weeks old!

"Bentley Jaguar" resides in Weimar, Northern California, with his new family, Lynn and Marcia J. Lynn and Marcia have provided us with lots of updates and photos of their little Bentley Jaguar and his escapades!! As long-time cat people, but first-time Bengal owners, their comments are priceless and absolutely right on the mark!! A few days after Bentley J's homecoming, Marcia wrote us: "Hi Holly! I just wanted to let you know how the new kitten "Bentley Jaguar" is getting along. The first day he was pretty tired and I found him asleep in the arms of a big teddy bear that sits on a little chair in the bedroom! He has met the two dumpster (rescue) cats and they seem to like him. One of the cats- Felix - stayed with him all day. Not real cozy, but sitting on a chair and observing this new kitten and keeping him company. Bentley is very playful and loves all his toys. He is eating well and slept on the pillow by my head last night! He is a real character and we are enjoying his kitten tricks! We will keep you posted." And, a couple of weeks later, Marcia sent us this update: "Hi Holly! Just wanted to let you know how Bentley is doing. He is just fine and has turned into a real character! Seems like everyday he does something different. He has learned to retrieve his toys! He will bring his favorite chewed-up straw to me when I am reading in bed. I throw it and he brings it back! Felix now plays with him until Bentley gets too excited and starts biting him. The other cats observe him from a distance with an occasional hiss - but I think they will get over that. The only mis-adventure we had was quite unusual. We have a pet rat that will try to fight with the cats thru the wire of his cage. Well, Bentley thought this new animal was fun to play with until the rat bit his face (the little spot where the whiskers grow). Poor Bentley learned a lesson but he is still interested in that rat! Bengals do have a different personality than your average cat and we are certainly happy with him. We will keep you posted on his progress."

Almost exactly one year later, Marcia and Lynn brought home another Foothill Felines Bengal kitten to be Bentley's new little brother -- but that's another story, found at Leo's update page!! Below are just a few of the absolutely wonderful pictures Marcia and Lynn have sent us of Bentley Jaguar, obviously a VERY happy and lucky little boy!!.
